Below is the list of most common and useful windows shortcuts and there applications. Click Start > Run… then type the keywords to open their respective programs upon pressing Enter:

• inetmgr = Internet Information Services
• mstsc = Remote Desktop Connection
• mmc = Microsoft Management Console
• regedit = Registry Editor (Edit the registry at your own risk!)
• notepad = Notepad. You could also open a text file by specifying the location through quotation marks. Example: notepad “C:\SampleFile.txt”
• mspaint = Microsoft Paint
• calc = Calculator
• cmd = Command Window
• devenv = Microsoft Visual Studio
